Our Story

Long Story Short…
Ten years ago, two young souls living in their own little worlds, 10,000km apart, found each other on a rooftop party called Wine Not overlooking the Sandton skyline. Their names were Kathleen and Dewald.

Dewald insisted on buying Kath (who was very much playing hard to get) a glass of wine that, in his words, “didn’t mean anything – it was just a glass of wine,” and somehow charmed her into a reluctant “fine, okay.”

Well, that glass of wine turned out to mean everything!

Their worlds collided, their love grew quickly, and over the years it was tested time and time again – but, it only grew stronger.

And now, the long-awaited and much-anticipated day is finally here.

On 10 December 2026, we celebrate that love, that couple, and everyone (and everything) that brought them together.
